Learning Management System (LMS)
Schoology can be used to collect your own resources or in a shared course with other teachers to build content and then pull resources for specific classes as you wish. The best thing about learning management systems is that it is very easy to organize materials in a digital "home base" so students and parents always know where to go for work, whether in class, at home on a sick day, during a weather day, when a substitute is filling in, or for flipped lessons in or outside of the classroom walls.
Consider, how could you use an LMS like Schoology to not JUST provide materials but to take students to a higher level of learning. Would class discussions work for your subject, perhaps once a week? What about having students share their work for peer review?
